Is there a way to get around this that i am missing? or could that feature be added to the launcher to allow us to launch old versions of D2R without the newest patch? (We should be able to do this legally without installing a crack to bypass servers) One of the biggest issues i see right now, is that the game requires you to update it and log into every 30-days or else the game will stop launching, it will say “It’s been 30days since you were last online, please refresh your license” forcing you to update the client and break compatibility with whatever mod you were playing. Which is awesome, I still have D2SE installed and play regularly, I’ve really been looking forward to the Modding scene moving into D2R as well. Some of them also have specific ReadMe files for instruction located within the downloaded files.D2R now has lots of mods on the Nexus. To install them, simply follow the instructions on their linked mod page. Thankfully, mods are available in case waiting for the remaster is too much. On top of that, the experience can get repetitive so they might also want to spice it up.
The pixels are all over the place and if they squint closely, they can probably see individual ones.
So, what's stopping them from firing up the game again in your modern rig? Oh right, the graphics look like they were ravaged by a hurricane.

Diablo 2 is so old that some boomer parents probably have some pleasant stories of how they promoted good Christian values back in the day by killing Diablo over and over again in Hell difficulty.
